New Tessellated Tiles
The floor your visitors see first. We design, supply and lay new tessellated floors for verandahs, front paths, porches, hallways and entrances, from the concrete base to the final grout.
The real thing, laid by hand
A tessellated floor is built from individual full-body porcelain tiles, nine millimetres thick, unglazed, with the colour running all the way through. Set by hand, one tile at a time, it will outlast the renovation.
We handle the whole job ourselves, with no subcontractors. We pour and level the base with the correct falls, cut and match every tile at our Keilor East workshop, and lay the floor on site.

Good to know
How long does a new floor take?
A standard residential verandah is usually two to four weeks from sign-off to completion, depending on size and how much preparation the base needs.
Are the tiles slippery outside?
No. We use unglazed full-body porcelain, which is naturally slip-resistant and made for Melbourne weather, with no sealing to redo.
Can a new floor suit a heritage home?
Yes. We work in the correct period patterns and colours so a new floor reads as authentic against your brickwork, bluestone and timber.
